Random Legacy 1.4

Cecilia barely made it through Jennifer’s infancy, between the gardening, the feeding and the dirty diapers, but somehow she and Jennifer survived, the garden keeping them in enough simoleans to stay afloat. 

I have no idea why Dina Caliente Goldbeard (story progression wed her to Juan Jr) hates Cecilia so much, but there is bad blood between these two. Maybe Dina has a secret tendre for Dude?

Dude does not get father of the year award. He’s usually busy when Cecilia invites him over, and when he does come, Jennifer is not his top priority. 

Dude: why are you growing all these plants again?

Cecilia: So your child and I can eat.  

Jennifer: I better learn some skills ASAP. 

Random Legacy 1.3

Cecilia picked up everything she needed to start on both family and career ambitions with her visit to Dude LaMer’s house. She hopped on the bike all by herself, because that’s how one gets to the hospital when in labor, it seems. 

No matter that Dude refused all of Cecilia’s invitations prior to this, but when does he decide they must chat? As she’s entering the hospital. I imagine the conversation as such: 

Cecila: Can’t talk now. Kinda busy. Sure, come on over. I have a surprise for you.

Dude: Is it a jellyfish? I really like jellyfish.

Cecilia: I am not filled with confidence regarding your parenting skills. I’m calling her Jennifer.  

Random Legacy 1.2: Seeds of Greatness

Cecilia moves into her new home, only to find all of the plumbing has sprung a leak. No problem, as tinkering shall become her hobby, nay, her obsession. Must…fix…all…the…things.

Next on the list: find plantables to start garden and find special gentleman friend to start family. Being the resourceful sort, Cecilia finds both in the unattended garden of a local resident, who happens to be single. Good thing Dude LaMer is the friendly sort. 

 

Of course, with the Random Legacy started, my gaming computer goes down in a fiery ball of fail, complete with light show. New battery on the way, resisting urge to install at least basegame on my writing laptop, but can feel self weakening. 

Cecilia arrives in the seaside town of Barnacle Bay, her objectives clear; find a plot of land where she can bring forth life from the soil and begin her dynasty there. One would think that the local sports arena would be the ideal place to search for an unattached gentleman, but seriously, this town is crawling with celebrities.

In short, nobody would talk to a poor newcomer with no job and no skills. Is Cecilia forever alone?
